Mr. Mahdi Davanlou: Was born in 1940. He got his Master of Science from Tehran University on Forest management and accomplished a training course at Munich Technological Institute.

Positions & Experiences:
Forest expert and responsible for preparing Forest-management plans (1962-1972).
Deputy of General Director of Technological Office of Forest management (1972-1977).
General Director of Natural Resources in Sari state (1977-1980).
Member of Board Directors at Chooka Corporation (1980-1981).
Deputy of General Director of Mazanderan Wood & Paper Corporation (1981-1983).
Supervisor of Mazanderan Wood & Paper Industries (1983-Now).

Research Activities:
Manager of research center at the Caspian Sea coasts for two years.

Publications:
Native Lumbers of Iran Magazine of Karaj Nataral Resources College by Ph.D tabatabaee & M. Davaniou.

Innovations & initiates:
Preparing comprehensive Forest management plan of Mazanderan wood & paper industries by applying the new method.
