Research Groups

The above groups will operate within the framework of the Consulting Engineering and Research Scientific Council with one representative from each group on the council.

The Supreme Research Council of ICERLI is the highest decision-making body within ICERLI. The above groups, ICERLI’s Executive Management, the Ministry of Industries & Mines, the Ministry of Jahad-e-Keshavarzi (Agriculture), Iran Research Organization of Science & Technology, and the Environment Organization will each have representatives to this supreme council.

Research Programs:

By research it is meant both what is going on in other countries and the research conducted by Iranian researchers within the national boundaries. ICERLI will try to keep abreast of the times with regards to developments around the world. Documents including books, journals, etc. are constantly being translated by ICERLI and supplied to users and researchers. Visits are also arranged to any research or industrial institution where developments are taking place in the fields of interest to ICERLI. Scientists working for ICERLI receive grants to attend conferences in order to gain new knowledge. Another measure in this regard will be organizing conferences and seminars in Iran.

Apart from this knowledge acquisition type of activity, a second type of activity is the original research going on or conducted by ICERLI within the groups defined above. Their intent will primarily be to address problems of industry but, at the same time, they are encouraged to move towards new horizons.
